Like most bikers I have owned Harley Davidsons most of my life and as we all learn, you just don’t own a Harley. They require a lot of routine maintenance and up-keep, not to mention the price of dealers and after-market parts.

Personally, I became very tired of paying a dealer to work on my bike. After being raked over the coals by a local shop for work that was, as they put it “complete,” I had had enough of all the BS. I bought a book on Harleys and started to read. The books were good, but sadly they just didn’t get me there. I needed to take some classes. Over the years, with my sleeves rolled up, I broke down and rebuilt many bikes. Time passed and soon a friend needed some help with their scooter. One friend turned into two, then those turned into many.

I always wished that there was a safe haven where I could go, outside of the commission-fueled dealership, to buy all of my parts and apparel. We all know too well what it costs to customize our bikes – handle bars, forward controls, fenders, wheels, paint. You can spend a lot of money and the dealer will gladly take all that you have if you let them; they are not shy.

That’s when I decided to open up my own shop where bikers could come in and get whatever they needed: parts, apparel, custom paint and body work, full custom builds, complete drive trains, or even just a set of plugs or a quart of oil as they passed by.
